About Sarah Jordan, LICSW

Sarah grew up in New England and cherishes the opportunity to practice in her home region. With 25 years of experience, Sarah believes strongly in the power of early intervention for children’s mental health and their overall well-being.

 

Sarah earned her BA in English and psychology from Mount Holyoke College. A former preschool teacher and researcher, Sarah went on to earn her MSW at the University of Michigan Graduate School of Social Work, and then her EdM from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

 

Sarah completed clinical training with the University Center for the Child and Family while at the University of Michigan and with the Judge Baker Children’s Center while at Harvard University. Additionally, Sarah received specialized postgraduate training in child psychotherapy at The Lucy Daniels Center Family Guidance Service in North Carolina. Sarah then returned home to the New England coast, where she served children and families through Counseling Services Inc. and The Brichel Center. Sarah established her private psychotherapy practice in 2007.

 

Sarah is an independently licensed clinical social worker in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts.
